A growing consulting engineering firm in South Jersey is seeking a Structural Engineer with experience in building envelope systems, forensic investigations, roof assessments, and waterproofing design. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected team that specializes in evaluating existing structures, diagnosing failures, and developing practical repair solutions for commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform building envelope evaluations and condition assessments
• Conduct roof inspections and prepare assessment reports
• Investigate structural and moisture-related failures
• Develop repair and rehabilitation recommendations
• Design waterproofing and building envelope restoration solutions
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and construction documents
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and project teams
• Support construction observation and quality assurance activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 4+ years of experience in building envelope consulting, forensic engineering, roofing, or waterproofing projects
• Experience performing field investigations and condition assessments
• Strong technical report writing skills
• Knowledge of building codes, roofing systems, façade systems, and waterproofing assemblies
• EIT or PE preferred
• Ability to travel to project sites throughout the region
