Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a leading in fragrance and natural cosmetic solutions manufacturer, is seeking to hire a dynamic Lab Support/Material Handler to join their day-to-day operations. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous lab or material handling experience—or a recent graduate in Chemistry looking to gain hands-on industry experience. The company is willing to provide training for the right candidate. You will support our fragrance lab team by assisting in the handling of small samples, light compounding, and tracking materials using Excel.

Locations: Norwwod, NJ
Pay Range: $20–22/hr (depending on experience; bench experience and lab coordination skills preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, label, and organize raw materials and sample components
• Assist with lab support tasks including light compounding and sample prep
• Track and document material usage in Excel spreadsheets
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of lab and storage areas
• Collaborate with the lab and operations team on sample and project flow

Qualifications:

• Open to recent graduates with a degree or associate degree in Chemistry
• OR 1+ year experience in a lab, manufacturing, or material handling role (fragrance, cosmetics, or pharma preferred)
• Comfortable with small-scale measurements and working with samples
• Basic Excel skills (data entry, sorting, formulas)
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills
• Willingness to learn and work in a team environment
