Assembly/Production: Mechanical Design Internship

This internship is open to motivated students seeking to learn more about the engineering fields who
have experience in the areas listed below. Come join us for a hands-on opportunity to work with

Mechanical Design Internship Responsibilities:

Experience in a 3D CAD software package (SolidWorks preferred)

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Excellent organization skills as well as written and oral communication skills

Solve interesting and challenging problems alongside a great team of Mechanical Engineers

Requirements:

Assisting the mechanical engineering team with designing parts, assemblies, and fixtures for R&D projects, custom study systems, and/or commercial products

Creating project documentation as required, including 2D drawings for part manufacture and assembly aides

Collaborating with R&D and manufacturing departments as necessary

Ability to work independently under the guidance of a senior team member

Good communications skills (presentation and documentation of results)

The anticipated salary range for the position is $16.00-$22.00 per hour. This is dependent upon consideration of multiple factors when determining a base salary such as a candidate’s experience, education, and current market conditions.
