Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented CMM Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming and operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to ensure precise measurement and inspection of our cast and machined components in accordance with engineering specifications and quality standards. This role is crucial in maintaining product quality and supporting manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute CMM programs for measurement and inspection of parts
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications including GD&T
• Perform inspections on machined parts and casting components
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality standards
• Generate inspection reports and maintain accurate records of measurements
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address quality issues
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CMM Programmer
• Strong knowledge of GD&T principles
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards
• Experience in casting and manufacturing environments a plus.
• Experience in Aerospace, and other highly regulated industries a big plus.
• Knowledge of AS9100 and AS9102 requirements
• Understanding of machined part inspection techniques
• Experience in aerospace quality assurance processes
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
