Director of Operations
- Lead and manage the day to day operation through a team of top performers
- Manages the P&L for their operations
- Hold executive responsibility for all vertical operations, employee management, finances, and people related functions, sales growth, startups, account management, legal, and other operating elements of the business.
- Responsible for client relations and retention
- Manage and build performance teams, providing coaching, development and mentoring to a team of managers
- Develop and hold the team accountable to managing key performance indicators
- Stay current in business vertical and identify opportunities for company growth opportunities
- Provide timely feedback and guidance for team members on operational issues and concerns
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of five (5) years of management experience in janitorial industry
- Business level oral and written communication skills; ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing environments
- Excellent customer service skills; active listening skills
- Ability to lead and encourage teamwork; ability to negotiate and resolve conflict
- Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate sound judgment
- Able to think independently
- Ability to analyze and deliver effective solutions
- Excellent organizational skills to include astute prioritization skills
- Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft and Google products
- Bachelor's degree or higher in business management
- Bilingual; ability to speak, read, and write in Spanish, French, or other languages
- Prior cleaning or janitorial experience
- Familiarity with custodial practices and commercial cleaning standards
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and waxing
- Experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance
- Medical, dental, vision, basic life, AD&D, retirement plan and disability insurance
- Eight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personal days
- Vacation time offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly. Unused vacation is only paid out where required by law.
