CNC Equipment Reliability Technician
Job Description
Job Description
A day in the life
You start your shift with a quick scan of the maintenance dashboard: a 5-axis VMC shows an intermittent spindle vibration, a lathe needs a servo parameter check, and production is ramping up for a critical aerospace build. You lock out a cell, pull covers, check backlash at the ball screw, verify spindle bearings with a dial indicator, tweak a Fanuc parameter to resolve a following error, and capture the work in the maintenance log. By mid-morning, you’re calibrating a newly installed Haas, collaborating with quality on finish specs, and by afternoon you’re commissioning a router, verifying pneumatics and hydraulics, and handing it back to operations on time.
About KearfottSince 1918, Kearfott Corporation has been a trusted name in aerospace and defense—designing and building precision motion-control and inertial navigation products that guide missions on sea, land, air, and in space.
