Job Overview :

The Assistant Director of Patient Care role will be to oversee and delegate the daily operations of the Emergency Department, while fostering a positive work environment. They will be responsible for anticipating and addressing the complex, individual needs of patients and will work to create an efficient workflow within the unit.

Required:

• BSN
• Active RN New Jersey License
• BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association
• 2 Years of experience

Preferred:

• CCRN

Essential Duties:

• Provide support and assistance to the director and staff for coordination of patient care to meet the needs of all patients and to ensure quality outcomes in a cost-effective manner.
• Collaborates and assists the Director with hiring, evaluations, and administrative functions of the unit
• Facilitates with the director for goal-setting in collaboration with staff
• Unit responsibilities are for the assigned shift, including weekends.

Scheduling:

• 36 hours a week — night
