About the Position
TransForce is seeking a CDL A Route Driver for a full-time, temp-to-hire position in Edison, NJ. The driver will be responsible for hauling eggs to grocery stores or distribution centers.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay Rate: $30 per hour
- Schedule: Monday to Saturday (Drivers will only work 5 days)
- Dispatch times are between 12 AM - 3 AM
- 9 - 12 hours per day
Job Details
- Route Type: Local
- Freight: Eggs
- Equipment: Tractors with manual (10 speed) or automatic transmissions
- Handling: Unloading of product using pallet jacks or rolling racks
- Approximately 8 stops per day covering Pennsylvania & New Jersey
Key Responsibilities
- Haul preloaded trailers with palletized products to designated locations
- Complete invoices upon delivery and utilize E-Logs for paperwork
- Use RF scanners for inventory on select accounts
- Maintain a clean motor vehicle record
Minimum Requirements
- 3+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- CDL A license with reefer experience
