Warehouse & Inventory Manager

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF CLASSIFICATION: The Warehouse & Inventory Manager oversees all aspects of warehouse operations and inventory control. This includes managing staff monitoring stock levels ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards and implementing strategies to improve efficiency and accuracy in inventory SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Principles of receiving storing picking packing shipping and distribution. Knowledge of warehouse layout and space optimization. Stock control procedures. Inventory tracking systems and cycle counting. FIFO LIFO and other inventory methods. Understanding of supply chain processes and logistics coordination. Vendor and transportation management basics. OSHA standards and warehouse safety protocols. Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems Primero edge software and barcode/RFID systems. Use of MS Excel Word and other reporting tools. Ability to motivate and manage warehouse staff. Delegating tasks and evaluating performance effectively. Proven experience as a warehouse inventory or logistics manager. Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g. NetSuite Primero Edge). Strong leadership and organizational problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Knowledge of supply chain and logistics best practices. EDUCATION TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or equivalent. Bachelors degree preferred. 35 years of relevant experience in warehouse and inventory management. Certification for forklifts pallet jacks and OSHA 10 is a plus.
