Litigation Attorney – Insurance Coverage

Based in Marlton, NJ, we are a well-established full-service law firm known for its client-focused approach collaborative culture and commitment to delivering practical results. The litigation team is expanding and seeking an experienced Insurance Coverage Attorney to join a growing team handling sophisticated insurance coverage disputes and related litigation matters. This role is ideal for a seasoned litigator who values courtroom work client counseling and long-term professional stability within a supportive firm environment. This position offers a competitive salary of $160,000+ commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Defend insurance companies in first-party lawsuits and handle all phases of insurance coverage litigation including pleadings discovery motion practice arbitrations and trials with accuracy and efficiency
• Analyze insurance coverage matters including commercial and homeowners policies while counseling clients on coverage positions risk exposure and litigation strategy
• Take depositions and manage discovery across active insurance coverage and litigation matters while maintaining strong client communication throughout each matter
• Conduct legal research and prepare well-reasoned written analysis memoranda and briefs in support of insurance coverage positions and litigation strategy

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school with active New Jersey Bar admission in good standing; Pennsylvania Bar admission a plus
• 5+ years of experience handling insurance coverage matters with demonstrated experience defending insurance companies analyzing coverage and managing arbitrations and trials
• Strong organizational communication and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment
• Strong research and writing skills with the ability to analyze complex coverage issues and deliver practical client-focused legal guidance
