Job Title: 24‐Hour Unarmed Security Officer (3 × 8‐Hour Shifts)

Location: Bridgeton, NJ (Cannabis Processing and Cultivation facility

Shift Coverage

We’re staffing a 24‐hour post , divided into three 8‐hour shifts:

• Day: 7AM – 3PM
• Swing: 3 PM – 11 PM
• Night: 11 PM – 7AM

Workers must be flexible to cover any of these shifts on occasion.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol building perimeters and interior spaces (by foot or in vehicle)
• Monitor video surveillance and alarm systems
• Control entry/exit—check credentials, log visitors
• Monitor State Compliance Mandates as they relate to Physical Security
• Observe, report, and respond to suspicious activity or security incidents
• Prepare clear incident and daily activity reports
• Liaise with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
• Enforce site-specific policies and safety protocols
• Maintain professional demeanor and presence at all times

Requirements

• NJ SORA (security guard) card already obtained, or ability to obtain before your first shift
  • Must complete 24 hours of certified training, fingerprinting, background check, and register via NJSP
• Age 18+ , high school diploma or GED
• Clean criminal background (no felony or disqualifying convictions)
• Valid proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Reliable transportation & ability to arrive on-site for any shift
• Professional communication and observational skills
• Physical ability to perform patrol duties and write reports (stand, walk, lift)
• Clean Drug Screening

Preferred (but not required)

• Prior security experience (especially in controlled-access or high-value operations) (Indeed, Workstream)
• First Aid/CPR certification
