This role contributes to meet the mission of NRCS by enhancing capacity in field offices and ensuring timely assistance to producers. It is designed to free up NRCS staff for emergency and high-priority responses, not to replace federal staff.This role helps ensure continued progress on conservation planning, practice implementation, and technical assistance, especially in high-demand or disaster-affected areas. OR BA/BS Degree in soil conservation or related agricultural or natural resource discipline such as agronomy, soil science, forestry, agricultural education, or agricultural engineering.Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS ExcelProtracts, DMS, CD CARTDuties:Duties will include helping Field Offices in New Jersey to plan for and implement Farm Bill contracts for farmers first mandate. Duties will include but not be limited to the contract planning and development management; tracking and monitoring TFC (open obligations), FA tracker, advance payments, eligibility, CPA-153, 12 month waiver, expiring contracts and contract reviews; pre-obligation reviews including DMS review; training and support to field staff in contract management; review of cancellation and terminations request and other contract modifications. Other duties will be to provide support to all field office.Farm bill contract management (contract writing, practice payment, technical program support.
