Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students in specialized learning environments as a Paraprofessional in an engaging summer program. Located in close proximity to Paterson, NJ, this contract assignment invites skilled and compassionate professionals to impact students participating in both ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) and LLD (Language and Learning Disabilities) programs during the 2026 ESY (Extended School Year) session. With both immediate and summer-start roles available, you’ll be part of a supportive educational community helping students thrive.

Program highlights include:

• ABA Program: June 29 – August 7
• LLD Program: July 6 – July 31
• Daily schedule from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, allowing for work-life balance and flexibility
• Multiple positions available; five paraprofessionals needed

Desired skills and qualifications:

• Experience as a Paraprofessional, especially in school settings
• Familiarity with ABA principles or supporting students in LLD environments is highly valued
• Patient, adaptable, and collaborative disposition
• Dedicated to fostering a nurturing classroom experience for diverse learners

In this role, you will:

• Assist teachers in implementing academic and behavioral plans
• Provide individualized or small group support in the classroom
• Encourage positive social interactions and promote student independence
• Supervise students and ensure their safety and wellbeing during classroom activities and transitions
• Work as part of a caring team of educators
