Engagement: W2 only (no C2C/1099)

This is a hybrid opportunity based in Jersey City, NJ, supporting a compliance technology function. The role offers exposure to business process improvement, system enhancement work, stakeholder engagement, documentation, testing, and implementation support across a regulated financial services environment.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Serve as the connection point between business users, technology teams, and project stakeholders.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through interviews, workshops, process reviews, and stakeholder discussions.
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and documentation for development and delivery teams.
• Evaluate current-state business processes and identify opportunities for automation, improvement, or simplification.
• Support testing, training, deployment, and change readiness for new systems or enhancements.
• Prepare reporting, dashboards, process documentation, and project materials that help stakeholders make informed decisions.
• Facilitate communication throughout the project lifecycle to ensure requirements, priorities, and deliverables remain aligned.

Are you a proven Business Analyst professional with strong stakeholder and technology delivery experience?

• 10+ years of business analysis experience, preferably within financial services, banking, compliance, or regulated enterprise environments.
• Strong background gathering requirements, documenting business processes, creating functional specifications, and supporting SDLC delivery.
• Experience working in Agile environments and partnering with technical teams, product owners, project managers, QA, and business users.
• Proficiency with tools such as Excel, Visio, JIRA, Tableau, or similar reporting/documentation platforms.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements for technology teams.
• Experience supporting testing, UAT, training, deployment, and post-implementation adoption.
• Business Analyst certification such as CBAP or PMI-PBA is a plus.
