Project Accountant POST NUMBER: 475314
Overview:
Responsible for supporting financial operations across multiple projects, ensuring accurate cost tracking, reporting, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor project expenses from initial planning through completion
- Manage invoicing, payables/receivables, and cash flow activity
- Produce periodic financial reports and assist with external reporting needs
- Maintain organized, audit-ready financial records and liaise with outside advisors
- Support cost allocation, billing reconciliation, and project-level financial tracking
- Assist with payroll processing and related documentation
- Handle lien waivers and general contract-related financial tasks
Qualifications:
- Background in accounting, finance, or related field
- Experience with project-based or construction accounting preferred
- Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and accounting software
