Position Title: Licensed Skincare Technician / Esthetician
Reports To: Salon Manager / Spa Owner
Location: VPro Beauty Salon & Spa – Morris Plains, NJ
Role Summary
The Skincare Technician is responsible for delivering professional skincare services, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and promoting a holistic beauty & wellness philosophy. This role requires technical expertise in skincare treatments, knowledge of skin conditions, and the ability to recommend personalized care.
Core Duties & Responsibilities
1. Perform professional facials, peels, and advanced treatments (HydraFacial, BDR, Glo2 Oxygen Facial, LED therapy, microneedling, etc.).
2. Conduct skin analysis and consultations to recommend customized treatment plans.
3. Educate clients on proper at-home skincare routines and product use.
4. Maintain high sanitation standards and adhere to NJ State Board regulations.
5. Promote and upsell skincare products and spa services.
6. Keep treatment room clean, organized, and stocked.
7. Stay up to date with the latest skincare techniques, devices, and products.
8. Collaborate with the team to support spa events, promotions, and client experiences.
Qualifications
• Valid NJ Esthetician License (or transferable state license).
• 1–2 years of professional spa/clinic experience preferred (new grads welcome).
• Knowledge of advanced treatments and equipment (HydraFacial, LED, microdermabrasion, etc.).
• Strong communication and client care skills.
• Sales and product knowledge skills a plus.
