This role involves performing installation, inspection, repair, servicing, and maintenance of electrical systems, circuits, and related equipment in a commercial and industrial environment. You analyze and troubleshoot issues in electrical circuits and systems, including those operating at 480 volts and lower, while communicating effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and clients. You work hands-on in a fast-paced setting that requires regular physical activity, problem-solving, and strict adherence to safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, repair, service, and maintain electrical systems, circuits, and related equipment in commercial and industrial facilities.
• Analyze and diagnose problems in electrical circuits, systems, and equipment, including those operating at 480 volts and lower.
• Perform troubleshooting to identify faults and implement effective corrective actions to restore system functionality.
• Install and route conduit, pull and terminate wiring, and ensure all electrical work meets applicable codes and standards.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues and perform preventive maintenance.
• Use appropriate tools, equipment, scaffolding, and powered lifts to access work areas safely and efficiently.
• Navigate stairs, ladders, tight spaces, high spaces, attic areas, and roof access points to perform electrical work as required.
• Handle tools, materials, and equipment safely, including lifting items up to 70 pounds as needed for the job.
• Work effectively in environments with limited lighting and extreme temperatures, including non-conditioned spaces.
• Collaborate closely with supervisors, colleagues, and clients to coordinate work, provide updates, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a high level of productivity and accuracy while working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to protect yourself, your team, and the facility.
• Move materials and equipment through buildings that may not have elevators, relying on stairways and manual transport methods.

• Proven ability to analyze problems related to the maintenance and repair of electrical circuits, systems, and equipment, including 480 volts and lower voltages.
• Demonstrated broad experience as an electrician in commercial and industrial environments.
• Hands-on experience with installation, inspection, repair, servicing, and maintenance of electrical systems, circuits, and related equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving electrical issues efficiently.
• Proficiency with electrical work involving conduit, wiring, and associated components.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with supervisors, colleagues, and clients.
• Capability to walk long distances in all weather conditions and navigate stairs throughout the workday.
• Ability to climb ladders, use scaffolding or powered lifts, kneel, work in tight spaces, and operate in high spaces safely.
• Physical ability to lift tools, materials, and equipment up to 70 pounds.
• Ability to work year-round in all types of weather conditions.
• Comfort working in limited lighting conditions and in areas with extreme temperatures, including non-conditioned spaces such as attics and roof access locations.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Willingness and ability to work in buildings without elevators, using stairs to move materials and equipment.

• Experience working in a variety of commercial and industrial facilities.
• Strong focus on safety practices when working at heights, in tight spaces, and in challenging environmental conditions.
• Reliability and consistency in meeting deadlines and completing assigned tasks.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks in a dynamic work setting.

Work Environment

You work primarily in commercial and industrial buildings, performing electrical tasks both indoors and outdoors throughout the year. The role requires frequent walking over long distances and navigating facilities that may not have elevators, relying on stairs for moving yourself and materials. You regularly climb ladders, use scaffolding or powered lifts, and access high spaces, attic areas, and roofs. Some work areas may have limited lighting and extreme temperatures, including non-conditioned spaces, so you must be comfortable working in varying environmental conditions. The environment is busy and fast paced, requiring consistent focus on safety, physical stamina, and the ability to handle tools, materials, and equipment weighing up to 70 pounds.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Ewing, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $50539.00 - $57393.00/yr.

We offer a full benefits package, to include vacation (starting at 15 days plus 3 admin days) and sick days 15 days), as well as a full retirement package. , they will be receiving a 3.5% Cost of Living Allowance increase in July of every year, as well as a 'step' increase on the anniversary of their employment, which also is a pay increase amount.

This is a fully onsite position in Ewing,NJ.
