About the Role:
Join Epic Collision Inc as a Paint Preparer in Little Silver, NJ, where your skills will contribute to our commitment to excellence in vehicle restoration. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering top-notch service and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking vehicles.
- Mix paints and primers according to specifications.
- Ensure all safety and quality standards are met during the preparation process.
- Assist in the organization and maintenance of the paint shop.
- Collaborate with painters to ensure timely project completion.
- Perform quality checks on prepared surfaces before painting.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in automotive paint preparation is preferred.
- Knowledge of paint mixing and application techniques.
- Ability to nib, polish, wet sand and buff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.
- Good communication skills and teamwork mentality.
- Must be able to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
- Valid driver's license is a plus.
