Dental Assistant

The Dental Assistant is responsible for assisting the Dentist(s) in the direct provision of primary care dental services. The Dental Assistant is also responsible for sterilization, preparation and inventory control of dental instruments and supplies. Requires a comprehensive knowledge of dental assisting techniques and procedures for all phases of general dentistry. Knowledge of modern dental materials, their storage, handling and applications is required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Successful completion of an accredited dental assistant program and/or certification through DANB or another nationally recognized organization is preferred.
• Six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• MUST have a radiology license issued by the state of New Jersey.
• Current CPR (BLS) is required.
• Certified and Registered Dental Assistants are preferred.

Job Type: Full-time.

Pay: $25-28 per hour.

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday 9-5PM.
• Every other Saturday 9AM- 1PM.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work. Parking pass included (Required).

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required).

License/Certification:

• Radiology license issued by the state of New Jersey (Required).
