A direct hire opportunity is available for an Evening Shift Staff Pharmacist in a closed-door long-term care facility located in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. This role offers the chance to work in a high-volume environment with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and overseeing medication dispensing within a dedicated healthcare setting.
Responsibilities include conducting initial and final medication reviews through the Frameworks software system (training provided), overseeing pharmacy technicians, and ensuring accurate medication dispensing. The pharmacy handles approximately 600 prescriptions per day, requiring the pharmacist to maintain a fast and efficient workflow without compromising patient safety.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 6:00 pm to 2:30 am
- Rotating every other weekend
- Saturday and Sunday shifts available: 11:00 am to 9:00 pm or 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Desired Qualifications:
- Active and clear New Jersey Pharmacist license
- Proven pharmacy experience, preferably in fast-paced or high-volume settings
- Ability to efficiently manage prescription reviews and oversee technician activities
- Comfortable adapting to software such as Frameworks (training provided)
