Who Are You And What Will You Do

As the Associate Brand Manager – Vaseline Innovation, you will lead the development and execution of innovation strategies that elevate Vaseline’s relevance, competitiveness, and positioning across North America. You’ll drive innovation across Core and Premium Hand & Body Lotion platforms by translating deep consumer insights into breakthrough products, formats, and experiences that deliver business impact.

This role requires a strong passion for beauty and skincare, inclusive design (people and planet positive), and market-making initiatives. The role requires the ability to lead cross-functional teams through complex innovation pipelines and strategically influence key stakeholders through the innovation cycle. You’ll also play a pivotal role in unlocking whitespace opportunities across channels and consumer cohorts - with particular focus on de-seasonalizing the Hand & Body Care business to build business resilience year-round.

What Will You Need To Succeed

  • 3+ years of experience in brand innovation, product development, or consumer marketing
  • Strong creative and strategic thinking with a passion for beauty, skincare, and inclusive design
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex innovation pipelines
  • Experience in premium positioning, value engineering, and inclusive pack design (people/planet) is a plus
  • Data-driven mindset with comfort navigating insights, financials, and consumer research
  • Agile, collaborative, and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Lead Innovation Development: Own end-to-end delivery of Hand & Body Lotion (HBL) innovation projects across Vaseline’s Core and Premium platforms
  • Elevate the Core: Lead the repositioning and refresh of Vaseline Intensive Care - ensuring alignment with B&W's Purpose-Science-Desire ambition and Vaseline's strategic growth roadmap
  • Champion innovation storytelling that resonates with beauty-forward, social-first consumers by staying ahead of cultural trends and insights
  • Expand the Offering: Identify and validate new benefit spaces and/or pack/product formats to recruit new/lapsed users, de-seasonalize the portfolio, and position Vaseline HBL as leading innovators
  • Cross-Functional Leadership and Support: Lead cross-functional teams to deliver innovation with excellence
  • Monitor in-market performance and consumer feedback to refine future launches and inform strategic pivots

Pay: The pay range for this position is $86,080 to $129,120. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
