The Bayway Refinery is currently seeking a Shop Diesel Technician to become an integral part of our garage! You will diagnose, adjust, repair, and overhaul everything from large heavy equipment to small engine tools. Full-time. 40 hours per week plus frequent overtime. Monday to Friday 7am - 3:30pm.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair automotive trucks, compressors, generators, small engine equipment
- Perform routine tune-ups and maintenance
- Lead diesel side of garage including parts ordering
- Inspect and test vehicles for necessary adjustments
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an diesel technician, mechanic, or other related fields
- Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to jump from project to project based on sites changing priorities
