We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, cutting, and finishing raw footage into polished, compelling video content that aligns with our brand strategy and production goals. This role requires a strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, sound design, and color correction to deliver exceptional videos across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage into final products for various platforms (e.g., social media, website, internal communications, advertisements, long-form content).
• Review script and raw material to create a logical and aesthetically pleasing flow.
• Implement motion graphics, lower thirds, titles, and visual effects to enhance content.
• Select, edit, and mix appropriate music and sound effects to complement the video narrative.
• Ensure all content is color-corrected and meets quality standards for broadcast or digital distribution.
• Collaborate closely with producers, directors, and content creators to understand project vision and deliver on creative briefs.
• Organize and maintain a comprehensive media library and project files.
• Stay up-to-date with industry-standard editing software, techniques, and emerging video trends.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to editing, rendering, and file formats.

Qualifications Required:

• 2+ years of professional experience as a Video Editor or similar role.
• Proven expertise in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer ).
• Strong portfolio or reel demonstrating a range of editing styles and techniques (e.g., narrative, documentary, promotional, short-form).
• Solid understanding of post-production processes, including footage ingestion, media management, sound mixing, and color grading.
• Proficiency in motion graphics and visual effects software (e.g., Adobe After Effects ).
• Excellent sense of timing, pacing, and visual composition.
• Ability to take direction, receive constructive criticism, and work independently.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred (Bonus Skills):

• Experience with professional-level cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.
• Familiarity with graphic design principles and software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Knowledge of different video codecs, aspect ratios, and delivery specifications for various platforms.
