Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for an Evening Shift Production Pharmacy Technician to join a closed-door long-term care facility in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. This direct hire position offers a consistent schedule and the chance to work in a supportive environment focused on pharmacy operations tailored to resident care.
Location: Cherry Hill, NJ
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 6:00 pm to 2:30 am
- Every other weekend rotation
Responsibilities:
- Prepare medications in proper packaging formats, including blister packs and unit-dose, ensuring timely delivery to residents
- Assist with ordering, receiving, and stocking medications, while monitoring storage conditions and expiration dates
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient and medication records to ensure compliance and safety
- Utilize pharmacy software systems for workflow management; training on Frameworks software is provided
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a relevant setting
- New Jersey State Pharmacy Technician License preferred but not required
- PTCB certification preferred but not required
- Ability to efficiently manage workflow during a high-volume shift (approximately 600 prescriptions per day)
