Shift Supervisor
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong communication skills and the ability to manage people, priorities, and fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily shift operations.
- Lead, motivate, and support team members to meet performance goals.
- Assign tasks and monitor workflow to ensure efficiency and quality standards.
- Address employee questions, concerns, and minor disciplinary issues during shifts.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and labor guidelines.
- Monitor attendance, punctuality, and shift coverage.
- Assist with training and onboarding of new employees.
- Handle operational issues and escalate concerns to management as needed.
- Complete shift reports and communicate handoffs between shifts.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Basic computer skills for scheduling, reporting, or timekeeping systems.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Additional coursework or training in leadership or operations is a plus.
Work Requirements
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform supervisory duties throughout the shift.
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
