We are seeking a motivated individual to fill our Membership Sales Manager position at our Fitness Club!

A Membership Sales Manager would be responsible for the sale of Club memberships including walk in sales and sales based on leads and individual lead generation. This position also includes managing the front desk operations during a shift (responsibilities are listed below) as well as overseeing other staff during their shift. This position is customer and staff facing so candidates must demonstrate the ability to work well with others and be comfortable in a customer service-related position .

Front Desk & Staff Manager Responsibilities including but not limited to:

• Greet individuals as they walk in/out
• Ensure all Club members and visitors check in
• Answer Club phone and/or triage messages as needed
• Collect and process food/shake/tanning/child care payments
• Assign & manage the tasks of front desk and child care staff including but not limited to light cleaning duties, protein shake and/or meal preparation for members and other staff responsibilities and tasks
• Oversee & manage coverage for any call-outs or staff shortages during the shift
• Must be available to work weekday early mornings IF needed (for a staff call out).

Sales Manager Responsibilities including but not limited to:
(Note: this role combines hourly pay as well as commission-based pay which is determined on the number of individual sales)

• Greet individuals as they walk in/out
• Provide Club tours to new & returning non-members
• Complete Membership agreements including writing up agreements, capturing client information and processing payments
• Lead generation and lead follow ups

Qualifications:

• Must be able to work early mornings, IF/WHEN NEEDED.
• Must be able to get to work reliably and on time.
• Must speak English proficiently. Bi-lingual is a plus.
• Passionate about working in a health-conscious environment
• Ability to build rapport with members and visitors
• Positive and social demeanor
• Ability to work well with others
• Ability to lead others and manage staff responsibilities
• Ability to resolve conflicts effectively and positively and escalate issues to management, when appropriate
• Works well in a customer-facing / customer service role.

Current Shift:

• Monday 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM

• Wednesday 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM

• Thursday 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM

• Friday 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM

• Every Other Sunday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

January - March

• Shifts MAY change to 5PM - 10 PM
