**What You'll Do:**
+ Greet and assist all visitors, students, faculty, and staff entering the location, providing a positive and professional presence at the front desk.
+ Verify identification and manage access control procedures in accordance with site-specific policies and protocols.
+ Monitor lobby and entrance areas to help to deter unauthorized entry or suspicious activity, and promptly report any security-related incidents.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiating emergency response activities as appropriate and/or directed.
+ Document and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal site supervisors and/or client representatives as required.
+ Maintain awareness of any unusual or suspicious activities occurring in the immediate area of the front desk.
+ Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and/or assisting with directions and general information related to the location.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.
+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
