Job Title: Invoice Coordinator (Accounts Payable)

Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an Invoice Coordinator to join our client to support accurate and timely processing of vendor payments and invoice management. This individual will be responsible for ensuring all invoices are properly coded, reconciled, and approved in accordance with company policies. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced accounting environment, working collaboratively with internal departments and external vendors to maintain smooth financial operations. This is a contract position based in the Cherry Hill, NJ area, offering a consistent Monday–Friday schedule during normal business hours.

Compensation:
$23.00 per hour

Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, standard business hours

Key Responsibilities of the Invoice Coordinator:
• Process and verify invoices across multiple payment types, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting procedures.
• Review, code, and match invoices with purchase orders and supporting documentation prior to approval and payment.
• Assist with check processing, approvals, and second-signature requirements for high-value payments.
• Reconcile assigned ledgers and promptly resolve discrepancies or outstanding items over 30 days.
• Maintain vendor relationships by responding to inquiries and providing timely updates on payment status.
• Support related accounting functions such as void checks, stop payments, and special projects as needed.

Qualifications and Skills for the Invoice Coordinator:
• A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience is welcome.
• Prior experience using accounting systems such as Infinium, EVOS, or GDT is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with online banking tools and expense tracking systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with solid general accounting knowledge.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a customer service mindset.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
