McCarthy Tire Service is seeking a motivated and dependable Assistant Store Manager to join our team in Absecon, NJ . In this role, you will support the Store Manager in all day-to-day operations and take full leadership responsibilities in their absence. Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with daily store operations

• Assume full managerial duties when the Manager is off-site

• Assist with payroll processing and employee disciplinary actions

• Dispatch and schedule road service calls in a timely manner

• Manage mount/dismount technicians to achieve and exceed monthly revenue goals

• Monitor and manage overtime based on business needs

• Ensure quality control on all service work performed

• Oversee shipping and receiving of all mounted tire and wheel reconditioning orders

• Assist the sales team with scheduling incoming work

• Submit service department payables for approval and processing

• Oversee scrap tire disposal processing (OOSTA)

• Assist in conducting new hire orientation for store personnel

• Schedule employee shifts effectively

• Handle customer calls and resolve service-related issues

Other Duties

Additional responsibilities may arise. The ideal candidate should be flexible and willing to take on new challenges as they come.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required

Requirements

• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-demand environment

• Must be capable of working independently and collaboratively as part of a team

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
