Records Management Project Associate (Seasonal)

We’re seeking detail-oriented and reliable Records Management Project Associates to support our seasonal project running from November through March. This annual project plays a key role in managing and auditing client records with precision and care. You'll work in a warehouse environment, handling physical file boxes and scanning documentation into our systems.

This is a great opportunity for recent grads or individuals with strong organizational skills looking to gain hands-on experience in records and data management.

Location: Freehold, NJ 07728

Schedule : Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Pay rate: $20.70/hour

Project Duration: November – March (potential for extension)

Duties:

1. Scan physical client files using a handheld barcode scanner and upload data into spreadsheets

2. Organize and sort documents based on scan results (red/green categories)

3. Re-box files post-scan and move them to designated pallets

4. Assist with routine inventory and audits of records

5. Maintain accuracy and attention to detail throughout scanning and uploading processes

6. Provide internal customer support by fulfilling file retrieval requests

7. Communicate professionally with team leads and client service professionals

8. Operate efficiently in a dusty, physical environment while maintaining quality and speed

Requirements:

1. 0–1 year of records management experience (internships, summer jobs, etc. count)

2. Excellent customer service and communication skills

3. MUST have proficiency with Microsoft Excel , Outlook, and barcode scanning tools

4. Ability to work in a warehouse environment, including:

   • Lifting and moving boxes up to 35 pounds

   • Standing or sitting for extended periods

   • Commuting to off-site warehouse location

5. Strong multitasking, prioritization, and problem-solving skills

6. Ability to work independently and in a small team setting

7. Must pass a background check and drug test

Additional Information

• This is a seasonal project role that occurs once a year

• Potential for extension based on project needs

• All work is done in pairs at a workstation (teams of 2)

• Must be comfortable working in a dusty warehouse setting

• Background check and drug test required prior to start
