Joe Maggio Concrete Pumping LLC, a leader in Northern NJ’s concrete pumping industry, is looking for motivated individuals to join our quickly expanding Pump Truck Operator team. Don’t have experience in concrete pumping, but have a CDL Class B? Great! We provide on-the-job training with expert guidance on how to use our trucks. Our company has worked on projects like Sparta’s North Village, Newton’s new and improved South Park Drive, and other massive residential, commercial and industrial construction projects throughout the state–with more projects being added regularly. It’s a great time to get involved!
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License
- CDL Class B
- Valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate
- Current OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 card holder preferred, but not required
- Experience in construction/concrete preferred, but not required
- Ability to read and follow written instructions
Responsibilities:
- Must abide by all DOT and OSHA regulations
- Must follow appropriate safety procedures while driving and operating pump trucks
- Perform a variety of tasks including heavy lifting, standing for long periods of time, walking, stretching, and bending under potentially adverse field conditions
- Maintain a clean pump truck and do routine maintenance when necessary
- Perform inspections of vehicles before and after each trip to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order
- Track all miles for each trip in required logs
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations or damage to vehicles
