Lumper

Staff Management Group is seeking a Lumper for our client in Linden, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

Schedule:

• 2nd Shift: 6PM - 2:30PM

Pay Rate:

• $16 / Hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a hardworking Lumper to support warehouse and shipping operations by loading and unloading merchandise from trucks. This role plays a key part in ensuring shipments are handled efficiently and moved safely throughout the facility. The ideal candidate is reliable, physically capable, and able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Load and unload merchandise from trucks safely and efficiently
• Move products to designated staging or storage areas
• Assist with organizing and stacking merchandise during unloading
• Inspect items for visible damage during the loading or unloading process
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines
• Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move heavy merchandise regularly
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
