Role Description

Symmetry Search is assisting a long-standing client with the search for a full-time on-site Financial Director at their location in the East Rutherford, NJ area. Reporting directly to the CFO, the Financial Director will be responsible for financial planning, analyzing financial statements, utilizing analytical skills, overseeing finance operations, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Financial Planning and Analytical Skills
• Experience in preparing and interpreting Financial Statements
• Strong background in Finance and Financial Reporting
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Certification such as CPA or CFA is a strong plus
• Larger ERP system experience required. Manufacturing and/or distribution experience highly preferred

Our client is offering a path for promotion from this role. Will be a very visible position within this larger, well established organization. Newly created to support the CFO, very project focused. Some (light) travel may be required initially.
