Bill Leary Air Conditioning & Heating is seeking an experienced, motivated, and results-driven HVAC Service Manager to lead our Service and Sales Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong leader who enjoys developing technicians, building customer relationships, and driving department growth.

Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and support HVAC service technicians and office staff.
- Manage daily service operations while ensuring company procedures and standards are followed.
- Provide technical support and guidance to field technicians.
- Ride along with technicians to provide coaching, quality control, and in-field supervision.
- Visit customers to assist with technical issues, system evaluations, and sales opportunities.
- Identify opportunities for equipment replacement, upgrades, maintenance agreements, and additional services.
- Prepare estimates, review pricing, and write customer contracts.
- Build strong customer relationships through professional communication and exceptional service.
- Monitor department performance and ensure sales and service goals are achieved.
- Maintain a positive, productive, and team-oriented work environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of HVAC service experience.
- Previous HVAC management or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
- Proven leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Strong sales aptitude with the ability to identify customer needs and recommend solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Organized, self-motivated, and accountable.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
What You'll Do Each Day
- Communicate regularly with field technicians and office staff.
- Provide technical support for service calls.
- Ride along with technicians to mentor, train, and supervise field performance.
- Meet with customers to resolve technical concerns and assist with replacement or repair sales.
- Review pricing, prepare proposals, and finalize customer contracts.
- Track department performance and work toward meeting sales and service goals.

Our firm has been selected and approved by The State of New Jersey Department of Building & Construction to perform work on jobs up to $15,000,000.
