Job Title: Warehouse Checker
Department: Warehouse & Logistics
Location: Edison, NJ 08820
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $21.00 – $23.00 per hour
Reports To: Warehouse Manager

Position Summary

The Warehouse Checker plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, quality, and compliance of all inbound and outbound shipments. This position is responsible for verifying orders, inspecting goods for damage or discrepancies, and maintaining accurate records to support efficient warehouse operations. The Warehouse Checker will work closely with warehouse staff, drivers, and supervisors to uphold ADF Foods’ high standards for product handling and customer satisfaction.

Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred to facilitate clear communication with a diverse workforce and drivers.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against pick lists and other documentation.

• Inspect products for damage, quality issues, or quantity discrepancies; document and report findings promptly.

• Ensure products are properly labeled, packaged, and staged for dispatch.

• Record inspection results in the warehouse management system and maintain organized documentation.

• Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to resolve discrepancies before orders are finalized.

• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and food-handling guidelines.

• Support inventory control activities, including cycle counts and stock audits.

• Assist with additional warehouse duties as needed to support operational goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (warehouse or logistics experience preferred).

• Bilingual: English/Spanish strongly preferred.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors or inconsistencies.

• Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.

• Ability to read and interpret pick tickets, invoices, and shipping documents.

• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
