Qualifications
- This role requires excellent driving skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and a commitment to maintaining the vehicle in optimal condition
- Valid New Jersey driver's license with a clean driving record
- CDL class C or B with a passenger endorsement AND school bus endorsement required
- Previous experience driving a 7 passenger van
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage and engage with students in a positive manner
- Must pass a background check and drug screening in accordance with NJ law

Responsibilities
- We are currently seeking a responsible and friendly School Transport Driver to join our team and ensure our students arrive at school and home safely, in accordance with New Jersey laws and regulations
- Safely transport students to school in the morning and return them home in the afternoon, utilizing a company provided 7 passenger van
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with NJ state regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior
- Monitor students during transport to ensure their safety and well-being
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
- Adhere to all traffic laws and New Jersey Department of Education transportation policies
- Assist with loading and unloading students, ensuring the use of safety restraints as required
