Customer Service Clerk (Supply Chain / Logistics)

Location: Cranbury, NJ (1 Opening) & Hamilton, NJ (1 Opening)
Pay Rate: $23.00-$25.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1st Shift)

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Customer Service Clerk with strong data entry skills and experience working in a supply chain, logistics, warehouse, transportation, or 3PL environment. This position will support daily customer service operations by processing orders, maintaining accurate records, communicating with customers, and coordinating with warehouse and transportation teams to ensure shipments are handled efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer orders and shipment information accurately into the system.
• Process purchase orders, inventory updates, shipping documents, and customer requests.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy while handling large volumes of data entry.
• Communicate with customers regarding order status, shipments, delays, and delivery updates.
• Coordinate with warehouse, transportation, and operations teams to ensure orders are processed on time.
• Review and verify data for accuracy before submitting information into company systems.
• Resolve customer concerns by researching order and shipment information.
• Maintain customer records and update account information as needed.
• Prepare reports using Microsoft Excel and other company software.
• Perform additional administrative and customer service duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service, logistics, supply chain, or data entry experience.
• Previous experience working for a logistics company, warehouse, transportation company, distribution center, or 3PL provider is highly preferred.
• Strong data entry skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including sorting, filtering, spreadsheets, and basic formulas.
• Experience using ERP, WMS, TMS, or other logistics/customer service systems is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
