Vitamin and Food Manufacturing Company Urgently Hiring Cleanroom Technicians to Start ASAP

Morning, Afternoon, and Overnight Shifts Available!

Shifts Available:

1st Shift: 7am-3:30pm (Monday-Friday)

2nd Shift: 3pm-11:30pm (Monday-Friday)

3rd Shift: 11:00pm-6:30am (Sunday Night-Friday Morning)

Pay: $20/hour ; Overtime: $30/hour

Location: Totowa, NJ

As a Cleanroom Technician, you will be responsible for operating machinery involved in ingredient intake and staging, verifying the correctness of ingredients and labels, performing visual inspections on incoming raw materials, and supporting quality control checks during receiving activities. You will ensure materials follow QA quarantine or release procedures, monitor equipment performance, and report issues. Additionally, you will follow sanitation, hygiene, and safety requirements and assist with equipment cleaning during line changeovers.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor equipment supporting ingredient intake
• Verify ingredient identity, lot numbers, and labels prior to use
• Inspect raw materials for damage, contamination, or quality deviations
• Stage materials according to QA hold or release status
• Support food-safety and traceability requirements without record ownership
• Communicate material issues to QA or supervision
• Escalate safety or quality concerns as needed

Essential Skills

• Experience in GMP, cleanroom, and production environments
• Knowledge of food manufacturing and materials handling
• Proficiency in inspection and operating machinery
• Ability to follow SOPs, GMPs, and food-safety requirements
• Capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 45 lbs

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of manufacturing or food production experience
• Familiarity with GMPs and SOPs
• Understanding of medical assembly and manufacturing processes

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Paterson, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
