Accounting Associate
Job Title: Accounting Associate
Location: Andover, NJ
- Prepare & record daily bank transactions in our system, applying Customer invoices.
- Monitor and maintain Accounts Receivable aging.
- Assist with Accounts Receivable process through correspondence and collection calls as directed.
- Work with Customers to reconcile their accounts.
- Investigate Customer Accounts with discrepancies & resolve them in timely manner
- Retrieve credit reports and assist with the review of customers.
- Processing Accounts Payable vendor invoices as needed.
- Prepare a weekly payment proposal of vendor invoices
- Assist in the month end closing.
Requirements:
- Associate degree or equivalent, three to five years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiar with an ERP system.
- Acute attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
Hours: Monday-Thursday 8AM - 5PM, Friday 8AM-3PM Temp position-strong opportunity to go permanent for the right fit.
Pay: $24
