Currently, we provide virtual and in-person mental health services, including comprehensive evaluations, medication- management and therapy, across Pennsylvania and Virginia with plans to expand to new markets in 2025.

Position Summary

Blackbird Health is looking for a Child and Adolescent Therapist to join our team. You'll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care and be empowered to make a tangible difference in the lives of young patients and their families.

How you'll make an impact:

• Provide evidence-based psychotherapy services by meeting with patients regularly to provide counseling, individualized treatment and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Evaluate new clients through biopsychosocial/diagnostic assessments
• Invest in your patient relationships by establishing positive, trusting rapport with patients
• Because we must work within a child's school schedule, we incentivize our clinicians to provide availability during Blackbird's core after-school hours
• Collaborate with other specialty providers (i.e., CRNPs, EF Coaches, Speech therapists) to establish an Integrated Treatment Plan
• Comply with minimum clinical time expectations per week after onboarding and acclimation to the role
• Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress and maintain thorough records of patient meetings and progress
• Involve and advise family members or outside specialists when appropriate

The basics you'll need:

• Flexibility to work a minimum of 15 hours per week during our peak "after school hours" defined as after 4pm ET during the week or if you wanted any time on weekends.
• Active licensure in New Jersey as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker ( LCSW ), Licensed Professional Counselor ( LPC ) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist ( LMFT ) is required.

This hybrid role can work on site either Mon Weds Fri or Tues Thurs Sat (the remaining days can be done remotely)

Salary Range

$85,000—$90,000 USD
