Pay: $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Location: This is a hybrid role based in Mount Laurel, NJ, with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote each week.
Note: Candidates must have at least 2 years of New Jersey family law paralegal experience. This is a must-have qualification for consideration.

Job Description
- Support attorneys in all phases of New Jersey family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, alimony, equitable distribution, domestic violence, mediation, and related cases.
- Draft pleadings, correspondence, subpoenas, interrogatories, affidavits, motions, and other family law documents.
- Prepare cases for hearings, mediation, settlement conferences, and trial, including exhibits, witness coordination, deadlines, and logistics.
- File court documents through New Jersey e-filing systems and maintain accurate, organized case files.
- Manage attorney calendars, court dates, client meetings, deadlines, and case follow-ups.
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and internal team members.
- Assist with Case Information Statements and financial discovery materials.
- Keep electronic and paper files organized, current, and easy for the legal team to access.
- Help deliver a calm, responsive, and positive client experience during sensitive family law matters.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of New Jersey family law paralegal experience required.
- Experience drafting family law pleadings, discovery, correspondence, and court filings.
- Working knowledge of Case Information Statements required.
- Familiarity with New Jersey e-filing systems strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Teams.
- Strong organization, writing, follow-up, and time management skills.
- Professional communication style with clients, courts, attorneys, and opposing counsel.
- Ability to stay calm, detail-focused, and solutions-oriented in a fast-paced legal environment.
- Paralegal certificate preferred, but not required.
- Spanish fluency is a plus, but not required.
