Senior Product Manager, Women's Cancers
The Senior Product Manager (SPM), is responsible for contributing to the strategic development of and overseeing tactical implementation of marketing programs designed to maintain brand awareness and contribute to achievement of business objectives for assigned product. This job is responsible for designing, implementing and evaluating the marketing activities of assigned product(s) within a given product line; participates in the review of marketing programs, monitoring performance progress and implementing changes to programs as needed; facilitates the analysis of market data to identify key segment drivers, growth opportunities and business threats; manages relationships with agencies and internal business partners to align communications and strategies across the brands target audiences and to ensure regulatory/legal requirements are met. The SPM may lead efforts on developing strategies and tactics for one or all of the following key areas depending on brand: Professional/HCP, Patient/Caregiver/Consumer, Key Opinion Leader (KOL) development including advisory boards, speaker bureau and speaker engagements, Managed markets/Key Accounts, Product contract strategies and execution when applicable.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the strategic development and tactical implementation of marketing programs designed to maintain brand awareness; contribute to the achievement of business objectives for assigned product(s).
- Lead efforts on developing strategies and tactics for key areas based on brand (e.g., Professional/HCP, Patient/Caregiver/Consumer, Managed markets/Key accounts), as applicable.
- Collaborate with sales teams to align on strategy and execution of brand plans, drive engagement and obtain appropriate input for marketing initiatives and strategies.
- Deliver on expectations by contributing to/leading sales meetings and ensuring proper training, product knowledge & direction to the sales team.
- Actively participate in the design, implementation and evaluation of the marketing activities of assigned product(s) within a given product line.
- Assist in reviewing marketing programs, monitoring performance progress and implementing changes to programs as needed.
- Gain market insights and measure performance on brand initiatives and programs; Assist in the Key opinion leader (KOL) development.
- Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., managed markets, medical, regulatory), including market research & analytics to identify, implement & drive metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field (Masters preferred) with 5+ years of relevant experience (e.g., sales, marketing, product management) in pharma/biotech industry.
- Oncology marketing experience is required.
- Some experience with medical, legal and regulatory approval process for promotional programs, preferred.
- Experience working with PhRMA and Regulatory/Legal guidelines for healthcare provider interactions to ensure compliance.
- Experience working with and directing agencies and strategic vendors.
- Hybrid: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays onsite in NJ HQ (Mondays and Fridays are work from home days)
- Approximately 25% business travel
Base salary range: $150,000 - $190,000 per year. This is the anticipated salary range for fully qualified candidates. The final salary offered will be dependent on several factors that include and are not limited to relevant previous experience, job responsibilities and duration of experience, the type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc.
