Grooming Manager - Build Your Own Team

Sparkle is seeking a visionary Founding Grooming Manager to launch our brand-new Montclair location. This is a rare opportunity to build your own team from scratch, hand-selecting the groomers you want to work with and establishing the culture of a premier new salon. Duties + Responsibilities
- Recruit & Onboard: Hand-select and train your team of Groomers, ensuring they meet your high standards for quality and care.
- Lead by Example: Perform dog grooming services to breed standards while holding your team accountable to those same benchmarks.
- Safety First: Ensure the safety and well-being of every pet and associate, taking immediate action whenever necessary.
- Grow the Business: Assist in setting and achieving monthly goals for sales and memberships.
- Performance Coaching: Develop your team to recommend services and products that truly benefit the pet.
- Client Relations: Communicate with pet parents and resolve customer service issues with professionalism and grace.
Qualifications
- Experience: Three years of professional grooming experience required.
- Management: Experience running full-service grooming salons, including sales and inventory management.
- Technical Mastery: Strong knowledge of individual breed standards, breed cuts, and proper scissoring techniques.
- Education: Strong teacher of grooming skills with a knack for developing others.
Compensation + Benefits
- Base Salary: $60,000–$75,000.
- Performance Bonuses: Bonuses tied directly to salon performance and growth goals.
