As a Security Officer Checkpoint Screening in Cherry Hill, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a dynamic education location, helping support a welcoming environment through access screening, monitoring entry points, and responding to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at an educational location.
• Screen students, staff, visitors, and/or deliveries at designated entry points, following established procedures for identification checks and prohibited item screening.
• Monitor entrances, manage visitor flow, and communicate directions and policy information in a professional, courteous manner.
• Respond to incidents, policy concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to campus contacts or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned buildings and perimeter areas to help support security-related operations and report unusual activity or conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
