Base + Commission + Bonus + Benefits

• Base Pay: $45,000
• 50% comission on all golf instruction including individual lessons, lesson packages, clinics, adult and junior programs.
• Extra Commission on fittings, club sales, leagues, tournaments, partnership and businses development.
• Annual performance target bonus: 3%

We're hiring a full-time Golf Professional who is as invested in our members' journeys as they are. This is a senior role with real ownership — you'll shape how we coach, grow our programs, and help define what Powerhouse stands for as a brand. We're looking for someone who is a self starter, and takes pride in being part of building something special. You’ll co-own operations as well as provide programs and golf experiences, access our large membership base and community.

We’re a one facility brand, but are actively working on expansion in the Hudson County area. We expect this role to scale into operations and coaching across multiple facilities.

Golf & Coaching Experience Requirement

• PGA-certified professional with 5+ years of high-level teaching experience
• Experience with Trackman technology and software
• PGA Membership in good standing
• Proven experience in teaching, club fitting, and programs
• Proven experience in coaching all skill levels including early beginner golfers up to single digit handicaps.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to engage players of all ages and skill levels
• Experience organizing leagues, tournaments, or group clinics preferred
• 10% travel expected

Soft Skill Requirements

• A natural listener who tailors coaching to each individual
• Highly collaborative, and always looking to grow as a coach and a professional
• Someone who takes pride in the details
• Warm and welcoming with members, polished and reliable
• Highly proficient with Trackman and launch monitor-based instruction
• Indoor or simulator facility experience is a strong plus

Essential Responsibilities

• Deliver private lessons, group clinics, and structured programs for adults and juniors
• Use Trackman analytics and video analysis to provide data-driven, results-oriented coaching
• Build and oversee golf programs of all types to support our community
• Create and manage member leagues, competitive events, and club championships
• Contribute ideas and help Powerhouse grow and improve over time
• Build genuine, lasting relationships with members and the Jersey City community
• Help us maintain our brand, facility and experience to the standard our members expect — keeping the space sharp, organized, and guest-ready at all times
• Serve as the day-to-day liaison with brand partners such as Vessel and Mizuno, nurturing those relationships and identifying opportunities to add value for members
