Would you be intrigued to join our team of innovators? As a Professional Civil Engineer and vital member of our team, you’ll develop design elements as needed and advance through the design phase. You’ll have the opportunity to design horizontal and vertical track alignments so we can shape lasting solutions for the future. You will perform and oversee civil design calculations, prepare sketches, impact analyses, and similar technical work as required and be responsible to deliver your tasks . We’ll ask you to develop technical specifications and to prepare construction cost estimates for rail/transit projects. Working alongside a team and leading design tasks, you’ll work on projects from concept to completion.

You’ll be responsible for creating design and drawings using software tools and resources supporting our clients’ overall project goals. You’ll support the development of Contract Documents for Construction; and lead, coordinate, and be responsible for a variety of tasks through completion. You will be counted on to facilitate completion of project assignments with those of other engineers and with other technical disciplines as necessary; and will provide written responses and memorandums as related to project tasks. Also, with involvement in Construction Phase Services reviewing Contractor submittals and requests for information you’ll ensure we’re doing better together! Here's what you'll need

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

• Professional Engineer (PE)

• Has demonstrated years of professional experience on rail and transit projects

• Professional expertise with MicroStation and/or InRail (or AutoCAD)

• Knowledge of AREMA and local railroad criteria

• Strong analytical, conceptual, communication and organizational skills

• Demonstrates strong problem solving mindset working in Team Environment

• Strong focus on client service

• Ability to develop and assemble plan sets meeting client expectations

Posted Salary Range: Minimum

120,000.00

Posted Salary Range: Upper

150,000.00

The base salary range for this position is $120,000.00 to $150,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
