Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of facility and equipment maintenance, repair, and preventive maintenance activities to support daily production operations. This role ensures equipment and building systems are maintained in a safe, reliable, and timely manner to minimize downtime and support operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills along with the ability to communicate findings clearly and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• • Knowledge of machine shop procedures (reading blueprints, use of tooling in machine shops, and how to manufacture parts to blueprints, specs, etc.).
  • Experience in production machinery atmosphere, repair and maintenance of custom-built machinery, various tool and die sets).
  • Mechanical ability to adapt to change of machinery (new equipment and part of the process of its installation).
  • Ability to read and understand Maintenance Manual.
  • Knowledge of basic electrical applications (reading simple wiring schematics).
  • Ability to troubleshoot electronic circuits or willingness to learn.
  • Basic knowledge of electric measuring devices (volt meters, amp meters, etc.).
  • Knowledge of computer logics.
  • Adapt to change in electric upgrades (new equipment and part of the process of its installation).
  • Ability to get it right the first time and understanding this is best way to do things.
  • Understanding quality principles of small parts.
  • Ability to speak, write and understand Basic English.
  • Ability to understand basic mechanic vocabulary.
  • to maintain working area organized and clean, to work with Lead/supervisor to maintain parts inventory, to support or follow preventive maintenance schedule
• Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives including:
  • 5S
  • Visual Management
  • Root Cause Analysis
  • Waste Reduction
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience
• Advanced troubleshooting skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Willingness to work overtime as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CNC maintenance (mills or lathes)
• Lean Manufacturing experience

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move maintenance tools and equipment
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods
• Ability to work in manufacturing and facility environments
