ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Logistics Manager to lead all operations related to all third party and internal warehouses, transportation, logistics and inventory controls. The ideal candidate will have experience managing 3PL relationships, including EDI within the CPG industry. This role partners with internal teams like Operations, Ecomm, Sales and Finance as well as external partners like our 3PL, warehouse staffing agency, carriers, brokers, and suppliers. This role reports directly to the VP of Operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Warehouse and Order Fulfillment Operations
• Supervision & issue resolution. Lead all internal B2B Warehouse activities, including supervision of team and escalation + resolution of all activities related to order fulfillment.
• Ecommerce inventory. Manage timely receipt and on-hand inventory for Ecommerce channels to support forecasted sales and promotions.
• Warehouse supplies. Partner with internal teams to ensure all warehouse supplies are procured and delivered to support customer and brand requirements.
  
  
• Data & Systems Management
• External data & systems integration. Manage onboarding of all new Retailer and EDI trading partners, ensuring seamless integration with Farmacy warehouse systems.
• Internal data & systems oversight. Ensure synchronization of all orders between Netsuite and 3PL and internal B2B warehouse.
  
  
• Accuracy Management
• Inventory audit. Partner with the accounting team to perform inventory counts based on the Company’s inventory count policies and procedures with full responsibility for Inventory Controls.
• Invoices. Review monthly invoices for 3PL and outbound freight, disputing discrepancies + ensuring compliance with contracts and quotes.
• Chargebacks. Partner with Sales and 3PL to dispute retail partners’ chargebacks.
  
  
• Overall Business Leadership
• Support special initiatives, e.g. 3PL quarterly business reviews.
• KPI achievement. Drive towards Key Performance Indicators (KPI) as a part of the Operations Scorecard with a focus on 3PL fulfillment SLAs, such as Customer Support, On-Time, In-Full, Pick/Pack accuracy, and inbound receipts.
• Department partnership. Work with Supply Manager, Demand Manager, and Asst Operations Manager on various projects.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, EDUCATION, + REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of experience of Logistics, 3PL, EDI management in consumer products.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (Supply Chain, Finance, Business).
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Experience with EDI based fulfillment processes, Inventory Controls, WMS, and ERP.
• Experience with Netsuite is a plus.
• Process Driven and bias to Action: Identify opportunities to streamline existing processes and develop new ones for on-going cost and timing efficiency. Focus on “getting the job done”.
• Attention to Detail and Analytical Mindset: Develop Warehouse and Logistics KPIs, lead inventory controls processes including daily activities and reconciling issues.
• Collaboration: strong partnerships with internal and external partners including 3PL, transportation vendors, and internal Farmacy partners.
• Agility: ability to multitask and prioritize based on business needs.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from both the Mahwah, NJ office and the Manhattan office as needed.
• Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship from employer. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.

REPORTS TO: VP of Operations

LOCATION: Farmacy office + warehouse in Mahwah, NJ, with travel to Manhattan as needed. Must have reliable transportation to and from the Manhattan office. 

WORK SCHEDULE: Hybrid. In-person 3x/week, with the flexibility for additional on-site days as needed.

CLASSIFICATION: full-time, exempt

ESTIMATED SALARY RANGE: $85k - 100k
