Assistant Service Manager

This role is vital in ensuring our customers receive the highest level of service and satisfaction. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment and be passionate about automotive service excellence, contributing to our reputation for quality and customer care.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Accurately record customer and vehicle information for service records.
• Communicate vehicle symptoms as described by the customer to the service team.
• Recommend necessary maintenance based on vehicle age, mileage, and history.
• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for labor and parts.
• Establish follow-up times and maintain clear communication with customers.
• Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, providing frequent updates to customers.
• Ensure the final invoice matches the work performed on the repair order.
• Explain all completed work and charges to customers in a clear and friendly manner.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of automobiles and automotive service processes.
• Positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
• Ability to handle high volume and work efficiently under pressure.
• Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) focused.
