Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Jersey City, NJ / Dallas, TX / Tampa, FL. Candidate must have strong capability in managing complex storage infrastructures across SAN, NAS, and cloud environments.

Rate Range: $37/hour to $46/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Oversees the administration and optimization of SAN, NAS, and cloud‑based storage systems.

• Manages data migration and storage consolidation activities to minimize downtime and ensure data integrity.

• Implements automation scripts using Python, Ansible, YAML, and APIs to streamline storage operations.

• Configures and maintains storage fabrics, switches, and associated hardware components.

• Performs troubleshooting, performance tuning, and issue resolution across large‑scale storage environments.

• Collaborates with Agile teams to support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and iterative delivery of storage‑related solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field.

• 7–8 years of hands‑on experience in large‑scale storage infrastructure.

• Candidate must have strong capability in managing SAN, NAS, and cloud‑based storage systems.

• Candidate will possess proven expertise in data migration, storage consolidation, and performance optimization.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $46.00 per hour
